Where it all started In 1952 Jack Little opened up the first Littles Menswear store, in the main street of Gosford on the New South Wales Central Coast. The store became a popular destination for menswear shopping in the region during the 1950s and 60s so other locations on the Central Coast were opened. In 1966 we opened the first surf shop on the Central Coast called Littles Young World. The growth in youth fashion excellerated in the late 1960s and 1970s by the introduction of new surf surf brands like Rip Curl, Quiksilver and Billabong. Barry and Brian Little, two of Jacks sons who were now in control, were plotting a course for growth in this new market.

From the 1980s onwards the sales of surf and youth fashion had totally overgrown the menswear business. So new surf stores were opened or menswear stores were changed to surf stores exclusively. Brett Little a grandson of Jack now owns Littles Surf Centres. With 3 great stores on the Central Coast at ERINA FAIR, BATEAU BAY SQUARE and LAKEHAVEN SHOPPING CENTRE .

What about now Like we have done for the last 60 years we are always adding new brands and selling what the youth of today want. We always give back to community groups and schools where we can. We currently employ over 40 local staff, whilst being up with all the latest trends, they must give old fashion service.
